Day 9 DP - Work takes the mind off food

Today was a very busy day at work.  I didn't have much for breakfast (warm water and some broccoli greens) and didn't prepare any lunch because I was planning on coming home for lunch and broiling up a trout.  However, the day got ahead of me and I never made it home for lunch.  Because it was so busy my mind and my body were preoccupied and it went by rather quickly.  I didn't get too hungry.  I drank a lot of water.  It was all ok.  Then, when I arrived home from work I had a nice broiled trout dinner to look forward to.
Not much else to say about Day 9.  I probably should have had more greens.  I REALLY wanted my daughter's macaroni and cheese.  All in all a pretty smooth day on the SDC.  I checked out the ocean on the internet web cam and it didn't look very good for fishing.  I thought about taking the kayak into the river but I got home too late for that.  Tomorrow morning I plan on trying for some more trout (only 1 left) and then spending some time getting the fishing kayak rigged and ready for tomorrow evening.  I was thinking about going out on a party boat to try to catch a striped bass but the wind is supposed to be 17 mph and rough seas.  Forget that.  So it's trout, maybe some more clams and that's about it.  Oh - I have a friend who killed a wild boar last week and there may be some piece of that coming my way.  Even though I didn't kill it myself, I think a piece of that meat would qualify as acceptable.
Trout - boned, butterflied and broiled in butter
