Day 4 - Clamming

Headed out this evening to restock my clam supplies.  Went with Ty, Pat and Jonah and we hit the end of low tide so there wasn't too much sand left to dig for steamers.  Surprisingly we did quite well.  This spot is very good.  Stocked up on some big cherrystones and a bunch of steamers and also collected some large worms
to use for bait tomorrow.  The weather is coming so I have to try to get out early to see if I can put a fish in my belly for the weekend.  That would be a huge help.
Looks like a feast doesn't it?

With all of these clams, I'm really missing butter!  There's only so much you can do with them without any seasonings other than salt.  I broiled some clam strips last night for dinner - mixed with some rice and beans.  A little butter and pepper would have gone really well with that.  Looking forward to reward on Monday.
