Today I had to clean those two big fish that were sitting on ice.
It's time to start giving some fresh fish away. I have plenty - I kept a couple of nice sections for sashimi and gave some really nice pieces away to some neighbors and friends. At around 3 pm I cooked up a small batch of fish scraps in butter with some salt and pepper and had a nice meal of it with some brown rice. I also took a bunch of strips and have it sitting in brine for the smoker. I will NOT forget to rinse this batch off I assure you.
Other than that - not much happening on the Survivor front today.
The kids had baseball/softball all day today. The weather has been perfect. I'm planning an ocean excursion with Dad tomorrow - in search of my record breaking bass. I'm bringing my wetsuit with me just in case the situation looks good for a dive. It should be flat calm all day based on the weather reports.
Pretty boring post. Sorry.
